Q.

my 22months old son has suffering from fever. he has around 12kg. i can given him 3ml of p120. doc can u plz tell me the dosage of p-120. and his diet chart. bcz he did not eat anything.. and feel vomiting..

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be agaidfn repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever

A. 6 months to 24 months: 5ml of infant paracetamol suspension, given up to four times a day. 2 years to 4 years: 7.5ml of infant paracetamol suspension, given up to four times a day. 4 years to 6 years: 10ml of infant paracetamol suspension, given up to four times a day.
