Q.

my 22 yr old boy doesn't utter words..he utter maa maa papa no no just these...that too sometimes...simple words like tv, biscuit, gadi, pani however I try he refuses to say....is it late??

A. No it is not late and you cN wait till 2yrs of age DEVELOPMENT by the age of 2 years the child should be able to speak few words with meaning in the sentence and should be able to understand all the commands and orders given by the parents and if you feel that they are not present in your child it is important to meet your pediatrician to assess the growth milestones of the child and whether there is any need of therapy or not. If child has good understanding and follows orders and command of the parents properly then do not worry much about speech as will eventually come. Talk more with child. Avoid TV mobile laptop. Involve more people to interact with the child

A. Hello mom Every baby development cycle is different. Some babies cross milestones early and some takes time. So you should not worry. If your baby is speaking few words then everything is fine. You should avoid giving anything to your baby till baby doesn’t speak and ask. Ask your baby to speak and take Happy parenting
