Q.
My 21 month old baby is suffering from fever and nasal congestion.How much ml of maxtra syrup and calpol syrup should be given to my baby.His weight is 15 kg

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. give syp maxtra 6 ml three times a day is Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.
Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants .
steam inhaldation would be beneficial .
Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
