Q.
My 20-month-old boy fell on the corner of the wardrobe and got this deep cut on head, and got 4 stitches. I am worried it would cause any problems with his brain development? can someone please assist.

we will observe him for the next 48 hours. he is not crying now and no other sign. but since there are stitches and dressing on the wound, we are not sure if there is swelling or bump but we are giving Paracetamol.

severe headache or
excessive crying or
excessive vomiting or
abnormal movements or
lethargy or
seizures then kindly meet your doctor immediately for examination.
if none of aboves danger signs ares present then you can follow wait and watch policy
for pain you can give paracetamol which will help in also decreasingz swelling on the head.
also apply ice locally.
