Q.

my 2 year old son is yet to start talking. sometimes he utters one or two words. but if we request him to repeat the same he never does the same again. he understands every command of the parents. but responds for the same occasionally depending on his mood. he is also a 2 months prematured baby. please guide.

A. Well I would recommend you to consult a speech therapist because since it’s a premature child maybe they could be a little little bit of delay in the speech and sometimes understanding it also be a little bit delayed with premature kids so you can consult a speech therapist will have better clarity on the situation currently
