My 2 year old daughter had a cold 2 weeks ago and since last week she is getting a cough early in the morning continuously for 10 to 20 mins, and the rest of the day she is totally fine. We are giving her Macbery syrup but still in the early she is getting a cough.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. recurring and non resolving cough and cold is commonly due to allergy and less likely due to infection. can be due to either allergy or infection or both. along with cough and cold medicine nebulization will bex required and your doctor will guide you regarding this. take a follow up with your doctor if the cough and cold is not improving with 3 days of medication .
it is very important to give proper inhaler as well as proper method of nebulization for better recovery x
