Q.
My 2 year old baby is suffering with fever since last two days and done with blood tests also. but docs told it is only just viral fever take medicine will be fine. But my concern is we are using medicine since two days but there is no change at all. his body temperature is also increasing. what can we do. plz suggest

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. hi, viral fever infection last for 6 to 7 days..
so continue with medications adviced.
Give tepid sponging to bring down the temperature if fever ..Always use room temperature water/tap water..not cool, because shivering can actually raise your baby's temperature rather than help bring it down.
