Q.

My 2 year and one week old daughter's current weight is 8.9kg.. is this normal weight?? Or can you tell me what food should I give to make my daughter gain weight?

A. dear mum, weight of 8.9 kg is on the lower side for 2 years 1 week old baby. for healthy weight gain, child should be given all the foods that are prepared in the house give five meals this includes two healthy snacks give more than One Katori every time the meals should be wholesome having variety of food groups like grains, pulses/non veg vegetables green leafy vegetables fruits dairy products like curd paneer nuts control intake of high sugar, oil and salt containing food and beverages processed packaged foods.

A. It should be a minimum of 12 KG as of now so precise Leo childless little under way that’s what I can tell you and you need to focus upon increasing the weight gain of the child and proportionate manner and you can go ahead with giving more of proteins as of now
