Q.

my 2 months old baby boy had injected 6 weeks vaccines on both thighs left thigh have swelling two days onwards getting fever 100.1 I'm using medications but also not reducing fever πŸ€’ today third day is it normal or not

A. it's quite common post vaccination. Feeding your baby after the vaccination session could also help alleviate the pain To ease the pain, apply ice-packs gently on the site. This will help her counter the pain and soothe the inflammation.To do it the right way, take an ice-cube and rub it over your palms. Apply the cold icy water on the affected area by gently patting on the site. Remember directly rubbing an ice-cube on your baby s skin which is already inflamed can make the experience more painful than providing any relief.Β  Fever soon after vaccination is normal and it subsides within a day or two. If this happens talk to your doctor and give your baby the right medication.

A. Hi dear mom. Yes this is normal.. Fever swelling and rashes are the common symptoms after vaccination It shows that the vaccination is working. Fever will be fine in a day or two.. So no need to worry.
