Q.

My 2 Months 20 days boy is breastfeeding baby but weight on 20 January:4.20 kg and today it is 4.50 kg i.e., 300 g in ~5 weeks. What should I do to increase weight?

A. Namaste Mom, Monthly weight gain of a full term baby is expected in the range of 400 gm to 1 kg and by the age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight. have a healthy and filling diet so that you are able to produce good quality feed

A. Start giving formula to the child because your child is not gaining well it should have been 500 g in a month so practically if you look at it in an entire month your child hasn’t gained as it is meant to be so start giving formula along with breastfeeding make it 50% formula 50 breastfeeding
