My 2.5 year old daughter weighs 11 kg and has been diagnosed with thalassemia trait. She is very active but is not gaining weight. could her weight gain issue be related to her thalassemia? What step can I take to manage her condition and support healthy weight gain.

A. Yes there would be an issue of thalassaemia that the child is gaining weight so I would advise you to consult a nutrition expert for a proper diet plan that you can follow what all things are going to be essential and what all do you need to avoid is they would have a better expertise in the area they can guide you assistive based on this
