Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy11 months agoA. it is very normal for small children to have slightly warm/hot head palms and soles but if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry about the warm head palm and soles.
you have to consider it as fevert only if the temperature in the armpit is 100°f / 37.7°c or more.
the warm head palms and soles are due to hyperdynamic circulation in these areas (that is necessary for development) which is normal.
RashmiMom of a 10 yr 11 m old girl11 months agoA. Having hot head is normal but till the time you do not take a temperature with a thermometer we cannot be sure about it whether it is fever or not so kindly check the temperature if you feel it is 99° with the thermometer or more then it is fever and if it is less than it is normal
