my 1month 20 days child is having cough inside. how to overcome it. it doesn't seem from outside.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the typjie of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reducde the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Roast ajwain and grind it and heat it up with coconut oil and apply on his upper body ..don't turn on the fan for 30 minutes and swaddle him..this will help in removing mucus
