My 18 month toddler has runny nose since over a month. We have tried cetzine but no help. He doesn’t have any other symptoms x

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and accohrding to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol jcan be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

Dharmi John Challis hundred person suffering with some kind of an allergy which is why it is not yet subsiding cyber advisor to get an allergy test done for your child after consulting the doctor because when the cold is persuasive all the time there in most of the cases it is very commonly seen that the child or even an adult for that matter is suffering with some kind of an allergy only
