Q.
My 18 month old boy baby getting hard stools, what can I do please give suggestions..

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. at this age the child should pass stool regularly.
if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation.
give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child
it is important to give fibre diet from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits
avoid giving more than 400 ml milk everydayf and avoid giving packet and processed foods as well as biscuits and refined food
adding papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineapple banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation. f

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and it may be due to constipation and please give bay more rich fibre food and increase the intake of liquid and also give baby prune juice for few days.
