my 18 month old baby having fever102, cold and cough since 5 days am keep on giving all the medicine paracetamol amoxycilin 457 mg maxtra Levosalbutomol nothing is working still the same for 5days really need any suggestion today no food she taken full day.

home therapy one can do is ajwain sekh on chest and make baby take little smell of it to give relief
apply mustard oil on head and foot
if still if baby is not getting relief it better to consult doctor

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which svdhould be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

it is best to cure all this.
maintain good hydration.
