Q.
My 18 month baby suffer from constipation from long time. Now dr change his medicine polyethylene glycol 3350. Pls suggest how I give this medicine to baby. Bcz 50 ml water can’t drink my baby in 1 time.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. constipation is common problem in children in which diet modification is important like including high fibres in the diet for which you can give seasonal fruits like papaya, watermelon and seasonal vegetables will also help , can give daliya or oatsmeal also .give more liquids.
giving excess of milk may cause constipation too.also avoid banana whic-th may aggravate .lactulose or polyethylene glycol is of good help,give any medicine or suppository only when prescribed.
