# my 16 months old daughter is suffering from hand foot mouth disease for last 10 days..new rashes are appearing till now...I am giving atarax to her and applying calapute lotion on rashes..Is there any medicine to treat these rashes and how long this disease sustain?

This is very common nowadays in such case you should definitely consult with your paediatrician about it because your doctor can only advise you well after examining baby. you should never give any sort of medication to your baby till it is not advised by doctors of us concerned with your doctor about it
