Q.

My 14th month old baby is not gaining weight from past two months. She eats ragi,oats, rice with dal, sambar, carrot rice, fruits etc. But completely rejecting egg and curd and she weigh 8.5 kgs? πŸ˜’ Does they have slow weight gain once they cross one year?

A. Hello dear parent! Yes, in few babies weight gain will slow down rapidly after one year completion. Let the child be physically active as much as possible. As long as your baby is active and healthy, showing no discomfort symptoms then nothing to worry about weight. Give a well balanced healthy diet and keep your child hydrated all day. Speak to your doctor for further advice. Good luck and take care.
