Q.

My 14 month old baby girl developing her teeth in now, my local doctor said to stop using nipples bottle as it hinders teeth eruption. Do really bottle nipples have effect in teeth eruption.?

A. no bottles do not hinder the eruption of teeth. but drinking milk in bottle can cause cavities in teeth. so it is better to stop bottle feed as early as possible. also give water or brush the child's teeth after every feed

A. Early childhood cavities caused by bottle feeding are most often apparent in the top front teeth, as the nipple of the bottle prevents saliva from washing away the sugars from the top incisors. The bottom front teeth may also be affected, though they are more protected by saliva and the tongue.
