Q.
My 12 month baby is now 7.8kg...is it normal weight or not. Is this under weight..Everyday my baby is doing potty 3 to 4 times..sir kindly say what will I do?

ExpertDr. Pandurang sawantPaediatrician2 years agoA. No problem if baby is passing adequate urine.
If baby is active and playful, no fever, passing adequate urine ie. minimum 6-8 times per day, then no need to worry for motion
( once in 7 days or 15 times
per day- both conditions normal.
and
If baby is active, playful then no need to worry for weight.
Baby gain weight 200 gms per week for first 3months of age
Baby doubles of it's birth weight at 5.5 months of age and triple at 1yrs of age.
At 1yr weight should be 9-11 kg
At 2yr 10-12 kg
And at
3 yrs 13-15 kg
4yrs 15-17kg
5yrs 16-18kg
