My 11 month old girl is having loose motion from 3 days,i am giving her gutsure from yesterday still not any improvement..she is passing stool after every feed and stools cosistancy is nt normal n smells bad..she's also crying while passing stool..plj help..

ExpertDr. Gunjan BawejaPaediatrician4 years agoA. hello for loose stool you can start syp zn20 5ml once a day for 2 week and also give ors after each loose stool as and when required. more should be consulted.

Hello ma’am I am going to advise you to consult your doctor only because if you are seeing foul smell in the stool and your child is crying every time then I am sure it is quite a stomach infection in the body and without proper stool as it’s very difficult to see the kind of infection it is so go for a stool test after consulting your doctor and accordingly a medication can be suggested
