Q.
My 10weeks baby is 3.5kgs weight and his born weight is 2.8kgs.Is weight gain normal or he is under weight. Can u plz suggest

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. baby has to gain 20 to 25 grams per day in first 3 months of age your baby is having normal weight if it take the birth weight of the baby into consideration

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 8 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Your child seems to be doing well. There should be a minimum weight gain of 400gms to 500gms in a month. It is said to be ideal if the baby doubles its birth weight by 6 months completion and triples by one year completion. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand.
