Q.

my 10 month baby girl had fever range between 99 to 100 by last three days. she is irritable, drolling, rubbing head, ear. I had consulted doc he recommended calpo and trmyup syrup. by last three days i had given both medicines but no relief. fever repeats after 6 to 8 hours. she has no teeth till yet. one swelling is seen little bit in lower jaw. plz suggest shall I wait or consult again.. is it all due to theething

A. I think you consult another doctor if the fever is not. down

A. this is commonly considered as normal as per the age ,for this ,you should not worry it is acceptable for now and this may not requuire ire any medicine or treatment .

A. hi yes it might happen because of teething. give gentle massage with clean finger on sore gums of your child. give soft food like khichdi, rice, fruits etc which is easy to take.
