Q.

My 10 day old baby is feeding at a gap of 7 hours during night.l breastfeed him at 12.30 am and he wakes only at 5.30 am for next feed? Sometimes he feed only after 7 hours.Is this normal?

A. please don't keep a long gap. During first two months you should maintain a gap of two hours between two feedings, even at night But after completing two months it is advisable to feed your baby only on demand and do not give any forceful feeding on particular timings The feeding should be done atleast 10 minutes.

A. Yes it is normal see you to understand as the age progress is the sleep sometimes gets better and the child is taking enough feeding one time to keep full for a longer duration as we eat dinner and we sleep patiently the same thing with kids also
