Q.

My 1 month baby is struggling to poop. She is trying hard but the potty isn’t coming out. Last night I had put glycerin suppository and the potty was out but I see the same issue today as well. What can I do?

A. The baby is only breast fed. Still she is facing this issue. Also I had given colic aid for gas but that didn’t help her to poop

A. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been gustarted after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggefsted by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are regquired but it should be given only in medical supervision .
