Q.
My 1 month baby is constantly having stuffy nose and as per advice using nasoclear spray. but still condition is same. What do you suggest for the same.

Shruti UpadhyayMom of a 4 m old boy2 days agoA. As per my suggestion don’t use this more. Consult other doctor. Because my baby had issue in his 3rd month so doctors gave me 1 week syrups & he got fine in 3-4 days only.

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/KC sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
