Q.

My 1 month baby boy had birth weight 2.59 KG and now he is 3 kg ..is it normal..my wife is breastfeeding him properly ..should we also go for formula once or twice per day?

A. A child gain of 500 g every month child has gained 400 g which is decent enough let the mother feed the child and if the weight does not increase by next month also properly as expected then you can check with the doctor suggest then only you should start with formula
