Q.

My 1.5 month old daughter is having too much colic acid, gas and she farts a lot due to which she becomes cranky. What to do to reduce gas? I tried doing exercises tummy time and all but its not working. Have also given drops as suggested by Dr but still not working.

A. Gas related problem is very common in small babies because of many factor includingg immaturity of the gut . other factors include cohw's milk introduction before 1 year of age , bottle feeding, not giving proper burping after each feed. Digestive enzymes like aglozyme drops can be given as suggested bhy doctor in proper dose for reliving of such symptoms .
