Q.

My 1.5 month old baby, takes 6hrs break between the 2 feeds, once during night on demand feeding...is it normal?

A. the weight of the child is normal and the weight gain is proper there is no need to worry about it and you can follow demand feeding that is whenever the child feels hungry you have to give breastfeeding

A. yes it s normal Baby should be given only breast milk till 6 mnths of age as breast milk has natural antibodies for baby s immunity and IQ development. Nothing is advised n can b harmful if given no ghutti no water

Q. #asktheexperts my 41 days old baby boy feeds only for 5 minutes during the night and sleeps for 4 hours. Even during the day he repeats the same. However, once or twice during the day he feeds for 1 hour. I am feeding him only breast milk. Is this okay? What should be the maximum gap between feeds? Is it okay to make him sleep on the sides for 1 hour at a stretch ?
