POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. It's not uncommon for a baby’s stool to change in consistency and color, especially in the first few months. Changes in stool can be influenced by various factors, including diet, illness, or changes in feeding patterns.
Given that your baby has a cold, it's possible that the changes in stool could be related to this. Mucus in the stool can sometimes be a sign of a minor gastrointestinal issue or a reaction to a cold. However, if the changes are accompanied by other symptoms such as fever, persistent diarrhea, or signs of dehydration, it’s a good idea to consult your pediatrician to ensure everything is okay.
