A woman can have her labour in 39 to 40 weeks also but since you’ve already crossed 39 weeks you should get a checkup done internal by your doctor to know what is the situation and if you’re willing to have labour now you can ask your doctor to do a sweep stretch which triggers labour within 24 hours to 48 hours
