Q.

Mu baby is 6.5 months old and 7.4 kg in weight. He is eating solids very well. Recently, he has stopped drinking formula milk which he drank since he was a month old. I am breastfeeding him but it may not be enough so I use Formula also. Can I give him more solids instead as he likes that over milk?

A. Start feeding your baby solids once a day, building to 2 or 3 times a day. At 8 to 9 months give your baby solids as part of breakfast, lunch and dinner. From 6 to 9 months give your baby breast milk or formula first, then solids after the milk. From 9 months you can give solids first, then milk.
