Q.
Mu baby is 2 and half months old , i am going out somewhere i do not have to feed baby as she is away .. can i consume alcohol since i will not be feeding her for another 14-15 hours?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. why cant you avoid.See when baby has any new complain then better avoid any self medication. Show to a doctor for right and timely diagnosis and treatment. Thays a safe procedure.

A. please avoid alcohol during first six months as baby is exclusively on breast feed for these month

Yes You can have it but you just cannot keep on having alcohol you just have to have like very mild alcohol and you can maximum have a beer or wine like red wine is good enough other than that avoid having any other kind of alcohol and make sure that you’re not feeding your child at least 12 hours after drinking maintain a minimum gap of 12 to 13 hours after drinking
