#Motherhood#AskTheExpert my daughter is 9 month old, her weight is only 6.6 kg, what should I do for her weight gain, else she is very active.

A. Dear mum, being active indicates good health. For healthy weight gain, give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. You can give eggs and non veg foods. Add powdered nuts like almonds to baby’s food. Use full cream top milk to prepare recipes like porridge, kheer and milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. Continue to breastfeed. Add ghee to every meal.
