Q.

mg baby girl got high fever from yesterday we took hospital dr gave antibiotics but she is refusing to take medicines and also refusing to eat any food I am cooking what she wants she just having a spoon and refuses if we gave medicines forcefully she is vomiting I was worried how to give her medicines or food even she is not taking paracetmol drops

A. Hello, You can give paracetamol suppository to your daughter rectally. Ask your doctor the dose & interval of medicine. I have used it for my daughter.

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol jvwhich can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .
