A. fever is the response of the body towards any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body and only when the temperature is above 99F it is called as fever, so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose which can be again repeated after every 5 - 6 hours if required and do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever in between the doses.kvd

A. Calpol Five drops can be given to the child and you can repeat the dosage after six hours again if it is the is the fever is moving on the higher side and if you feel that it’s increasing and not decreasing or the temperature is not settled then you should get a check with the doctor as well
