Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also.
the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feedding.
meet the doctor for weight assessment.
if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake.
if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the sleeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency odf the child
RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. See it should be at least 2 1/2 kg more than the birth weight if that is not there then it’s a problem in that case you can start giving formula feeding to the child because it would be like that your breastfeeding is working out enough so this is going to be good enough for the child for weight gain and growth of your child
