mere bete ko cough ka bahut problem hota hai or usko nimonia 4 baar ho chuka hai ek saal ka hai abhi woh usko thand se v bacha k rakhti hu usko jukham nhi hota proper ki pta chale sone mai jb usko dikkat hai saas lene fr sudden pta hai nimonia ho gya hai plz sujjest me Kya kru qki after nimonia loose motion suru ho jata hai jisse woh weak ho jata hai plz help me dr.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there pautracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
