Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also.
the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feedding.
meet the doctor for weight assessment.
if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake.
if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the slefeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. If the weight is not increasing for the child then I would just suggest you that you should start giving formula feeding to the child sometimes the breastfeed that you give may not enough for total weight gain of formula is going to be good in this case
