Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is in diagnosis of allergic cough cold .
here the child will have regular cough and cold which is usually not associated with fever .
it increases and decreases but does not get cured completely.
dr will give anti allergic medicine usually motelukast / levocetirizine. if its still not improving the next line of treatment will be inhaler therapy with mdi / nebulizer.
allergy can be environmental (temperature variation -hot to cold weather/ cold wcater intake / dust / smoke / pollens) , food , chocolate / packet preservatives food and sweet food also.
body cannot sustain such allergic changes leading to cough cold usually at evening /night and morning.

Nebulise your child because nebulisation usually helps a lot in reducing down the congestion that is there and because of this congestion sometimes kids cannot eat well so once you get it checked with your doctor they’ll be able to help you with proper treatment for the same
