Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there cbould be associated symptomcs like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

Neelam ChinnappaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. , thank you for reaching out to us with this question is very common due to the seasonal changes then your child may have gotten the gold the best that you can do is try some home remedies by giving some haldi dudh and also make sure you're giving your baby's team at least three to four times a day that is the one that will give immediate relief and even nasoclear drops will help a lot just make sure that you're giving your child the needed medication as well by reaching out to your pediatrician
