A. It’s common for some babies around seven months to show less interest in food or breastfeeding, especially if they are teething, unwell, or going through a growth or developmental phase. At this stage, breast milk or formula should still be the primary source of nutrition, while solid foods are introduced gradually. Try offering small amounts of food when the baby is calm and not too hungry or too full. Offer a variety of textures and tastes without forcing her. Sometimes, babies need to be exposed to the same food several times before accepting it. If she refuses food, don’t stress—take a break and try again later. Keep mealtimes positive and avoid pressure. Ensure she's well-hydrated, and watch for signs of teething or discomfort that might be affecting her appetite. If this continues for more than a few days or she shows signs of weight loss or lethargy, consult your pediatrician.
