mera baby 4 month ka he aur use abhi sardi khasi he ...aur use ye 2nd time huwa he...me use pehle ki bachi hui doctor ne di hui medicien de rahi hu kya ye sahi he?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. no not advisable need to see doctor again Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor after the exact cause is diagnosed.it may be any infection or it may be allergic too.it may be associated with fever too for which calpol can be given.
As the first line of treatment for relief you can give steam inhalation which would be quite helpful .to relieve blocked nose nasoclear drops can also be used multiple times.
Cough Syrup should be given only after a proper evaluation according to the type of cough .self medication may not be so helpful so please consult your doctor once. if the cough is productive you can give brozeet-ls or ambrodil syrup for now only n continue only after doctor's advice.
