Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Regarding Speech baby usually start mono syllable words at 6 to 7 months then bysyllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age . By 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months . Later on child start saying simple meaningful sentences by 2 years of age . Speech is a two way communication so just interact with the child and as the child will try to express graduallyb he will try to speak simple sentences .b If the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child to rule out any developmental delay .

Yes absolutely it is normal you should talk to your child more to increase the vocabulary of the child because the more we talk to the child the more words the child is going to learn and it is going to be easier and convenient for a child to gain knowledge speech over the periodWrite Your Answer Here
