medicine for constipation

A. do not give any medicine for constipation without confirming the diagnosis it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also. it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day. if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour of the stool. also straining while passing urine and stool is normal

A. good evening I would recommend you to first try some home remedies in the first few months it is advisable that you try to do hot compress on the baby's stomach to provide relief from pain and you can put oil in the rectum of the child
