Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.l
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

You can give paracetamol to the child that is going to be good as paracetamol is going to reduce down pain and fever if your child is having otherwise even if there is no fever you can give it for pain reduction you can give it every six hours if it is needed to be given
