Q.

me and my daughter got cold together and mine got over but for her it's still continuing.its been 15 days. previously she was having running nose but now it's not running nose but mucus comes out so she is not having blocked nose always ..my concern is why it's taking so long ?? should I got for some medicine??

A. she is just 5 months old so inhalation will not be possible

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a homre remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .g Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .
