May I know Sir, whether Tetanus is required for slight cut by glass of a 3 yrs old baby

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. if your child has completed the regular vaccination there is no need to go for tetanus vaccination at this age because it is already covered in the national immunisation schedule. if the injury or cut is very dirty enough then the final decision of tetanus vaccine will be taken by the doctor. not required for your child

Yes it would be better if you get it done because it is a cut with a glass which is better not to take a chance please consult your doctor advised not to take it when it is a different thing but I would suggest you to get it done to be on the safer side
