#Mamaxpert - I have a 5 month 15 days old baby, I will be working frm nxt mnth hence want my baby to get habituated with bottle feed however my baby is nt latching d bottle nipples. I'm using Philip advent natural bottle, hence please suggest

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. Dear mum, instead of trying to bottle feed your baby, you should prefer to feed using katori and spoon. Bottle can be a source of infection for your baby. Bottle feeding can also interfere with your baby’s teeth development. Once baby gets used to bottle feeding, it becomes a difficult habit to get rid of.

DevayaniMom of a 4 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. I used the narrow one. I read online that wide neck bottles aren’t necessarily better as they don’t provide a better latch, which was true in my case . Give the bottle some adequate time . They reject it at first . Also initially I had my mom/ husband giving the bottle as he would reject it it from me

DevayaniMom of a 4 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. My son was rejecting philips Avent. He latched on the pigeon bottle (normal narrow) it takes time for them to get used to the bottle.. almost one month . With a lot of singing n dancing. Now he takes two bottle feeds.
